House Music, It's La Cosa Nostra

New Shit that is Dumb Hot

By now I think I have given all of you enough time to marinate on my wonderful live mix, It’s time to start busting out the heavy jams again, so today is a two-for-one type deal.

1) Somebody to Love Me (Congorock Remix)-Mark Ronson feat. Boy George and Miike Snow

You may remember last “Baby Making Music” I posted the Original Mix to this track. I’m still bumping it. Now we’re given this beauty. I actually found out about this track because Ingrosso wouldn’t stop raving about it on his twitter, and rightfully so. Congorock is making amazing moves these days. Good to see another wonderful DJ/Producer emerging out of Italy.

2)Papa New Wave-Fare Soldi

(CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD) (B10 Highly Recommends)

Speaking of Italians! Fare Soldi busts out an unconventional electro track that somehow infuses elements of Disco and, wow, Electronic Jam Band influences? To create something so infectiously danceable that you cannot really resist your instinctual urges to boogie. As an experiment, I dropped this track in between Afrojack tracks during the Halloween Orpheum party. At first people didn’t know what to do with themselves, but as soon as that guitar riff dropped, the whole crowd started boogie-ing. Super tight.
